You can make an impact on the health of our community!
In 2014, The Kedzie Center, a program of Expanded Mental Health Services of Chicago, NFP became the first community funded mental health center in Chicago.
Since then, we have provided a full range of clinical services and resources to the most vulnerable members of our community, including immigrants, youth, older adults, low income families, and survivors of violence.
This year, we have the honor of opening a second center that will serve the Logan Square, Avondale, and Hermosa neighborhoods! After a pandemic and continued high levels of stress, our city needs more access to affordable mental health services, and we are rising to the challenge!
We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and
education, regardless of their ability to pay. This has never been truer. Our
innovative programs include group therapy for survivors of violence, storytelling
for undocumented and DACA students, immediate care for persons experiencing
trauma, and support groups for frontline providers. As we begin to see hope and
recovery from the pandemic, we are keenly aware that its impact on our mental
health will be long and pervasive. Your support will help us meet
the growing needs of our community.
With Gratitude,
